Your Journey begins:
DAY 1: DEPART NORTH AMERICA
Your tour to the fascinating Arabian Peninsula begins as you board your international flight for Dubai.
DAY 2: ARRIVE DUBAI / ABU DHABI
This evening arrive in Dubai International Airport, where you will be met and be transferred to Abu Dhabi for your hotel check in. SHERATON HOTEL
DAY 3: ABU DHABI CITY TOUR
After breakfast, enjoy the Abu Dhabi city tour. From the Corniche coast to the fishing harbor, Dhow yard and Heritage Village, learn the story of the ancient and present sources of the Emirates fortune. After lunch, return to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure. SHERATON HOTEL (B/L/D)
DAY 4: ABU DHABI / ALAIN
Travel to Al Ain and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Al Ain, including visit to the Al Ain Museum. After lunch check in at your hotel. MERCURE GRAND JEBEL HAFEET (B/L/D)
DAY 5: ALAIN / NIZWA
Today you will be picked up from your hotel in Al Ain. After completing Immigration & Customs at UAE/Oman border, you will proceed toward Nizwa. After lunch, visit Jabrin Fort, a magnificent 17th century castle with its ceiling paintings and exquisite wood carvings. Proceed onward to view Bahla Fort (under renovation). Drive to Nizwa and check in to your hotel. GOLDEN TULIP NIZWA (B/L/D)
DAY 6: NIZWA / MUSCAT
Check out after breakfast and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Nizwa, capital of the interior and the birthplace of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman. Visit the famous Round Tower Fort, and the Soug, which is renowned for its Friday cattle auction, intricately handmade daggers, and silver jewelry. After lunch, continue to Muscat for your check in. DAY 7: MUSCAT CITY TOUR
Today you’ll visit the natural harbor of Muscat (which means anchorage) and tour the Grand Mosque (ladies must be fully covered with a head scarf, and men must be in trousers; open 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. only, closed Fridays). Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum (closed Fridays). After a lunch at a local restaurant, reurn to your hotel. This evening proceed to photograph the magnificent Al Alam Palace, residence of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, and visit the vibrant Muttrah Souq. MUSCAT HOLIDAY HOTEL (B/L/D)
DAY 8: SEEB NAKHL / AL SAWADI / FUJAIRAH
Enjoy a full-day tour along the Batinah coast, stopping at Seeb Fish Souq, and then continuing the drive through date palms to the sparkling springs and Fort at Nakhl, with its pre-Islamic origins. After lunch at Al Sawadi Beach, continue to Fujairah and check in at your hotel. MIRAMAR AL AQAH BEACH RESORT (B/L/D)
DAY 9: FUJAIRAH

DAY 10: FUJAIRAH – SHARJAH – DUBAI DHOW CRUISE
After breakfast, proceed to Dubai. En route drive through the Emirate of Sharjah. Proceed to your hotel for check in and time to relax before we enjoy a memorable evening cruise along Dubai’s Creek. See Dubai’s illuminated skyline from the water while enjoying Arabic and International music, and a sumptuous buffet dinner onboard. INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL (B/L/D)
DAY 11: DUBAI CITY TOUR & DESERT SAFARI
Your tour in Dubai City begins by passing Jumeirah Mosque and the Trade Center, and driving onward to Bastakia, the oldest part of the city. Visit the Dubai Museum and the colorful textile market. Proceed onward for an “Abra” crossing trip to visit the spice and gold souq. Enjoy your lunch at a hotel restaurant. This evening, travel in 4-wheel drive vehicles for a Desert Safari to a desert campsite surrounded by golden sand dunes. Later enjoy a barbecue meal in the desert.

DAY 12: DUBAI – USA
After breakfast, you transfer to Dubai International Airport for your flight to the USA. Arrive home with a new appreciation of the Arabian Peninsula and its unique heritage.
