DAY 1: Depart North America
Board your international flight for your tour of Classic Egypt.

DAY 2: Arrive In Cairo
Upon arrival in Cairo late this evening, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Mena House Oberoi

DAY 3: Cairo / Memphis / Sakkara
This morning meet your private Egyptologist. Enjoy a day tour to Memphis, ancient capital of Pharaonic Egypt, and Sakkara with its famous Step Pyramid. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to the Pyramids of Giza, home of the 7th wonder of the ancient world. Visit the inscrutable Sphinx, and the Solar Boat Museum.  Enjoy dinner at the home of a local Egyptian family. DAY 4: Cairo / Luxor
This morning fly to Luxor. Visit the West bank's Necropolis of Thebes, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. After finishing the tour, transfer to your 5-star luxury Nile cruiser. Begin your 4-night Nile cruise with lunch onboard. In the afternoon visit Luxor and Karnak Temples. A special treat tonight is the Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple. ONBOARD (B/L/D)

DAY 5: Luxor / Edfu
Relax today while you sail to Edfu, crossing the lock at Esna. Watch everyday life on the fertile river bank as villages and farms leisurely slip by. Lunch is served en route, and you’ll enjoy this evening’s onboard entertainment and dinner. ONBOARD (B/L/D)

DAY 6: Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan
In Edfu this morning, visit the Temple of Horus, the falcon-headed god.  Sail on to Kom Ombo. This afternoon visit the Temple of the Two Gods (Sobek, the crocodile god) and (Haroeris, the sun god). Your cruise continues to Aswan. ONBOARD (B/L/D)

DAY 7: Aswan
Enjoy your tour of Aswan today, featuring the High Dam, the Granite Quarries with the famous Unfinished Obelisk, and the majestic Philae Temple.  Have lunch on board, and in the afternoon enjoy your Felucca (wooden sailboat) ride around Aswan Islands. ONBOARD (B/L/D

DAY 8: Aswan / Abu Simbel / Cairo
Disembark your Nile cruise in Aswan and transfer to the airport for your flight to Abu Simbel. Arrive in Abu Simbel and visit the famous Temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. Fly on to Cairo via Aswan and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening. Cairo Marriott  (B/D)

DAY 9: Depart Cairo
This morning explore the wonders of the Egyptian Antiquity Museum featuring King Tut's treasures. Proceed to visit the Citadel of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders, and the Alabaster Mosque. Have lunch at the wonderfully historic Naguib Mahfouz Restaurant. End the day with a visit to the Khan el Khalili Bazaar, where travelers have been finding bargains since the Middle Ages. DAY 10: Depart Cairo
Your hotel check out is early this morning to accommodate your transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home, full of great memories of Classic Egypt. (B)
