TERMS AND CONDITIONS RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required to secure your tour reservations. Certain products may have additional deposit requirements which will be advised at the time of reservation. Final payment for land arrangements is due 60 days prior to departure. Bookings made within the 60 day period require full payment at the time of reservation, or as specified by our booking agent. Final payment by credit card requires a signed credit card authorization form. Third party credit cards are not accepted, and insurance is highly recommended. Reservations must be made in the name as it appears in your passport. AIR TICKETS Ticketing requirements vary by airline and fare type, and will be advised at the time of booking. Fares are not guaranteed until ticketed, and may increase with any changes after that time. ATOC Tours is not responsible for change or cancellation penalties imposed by the airlines, nor for changes in government or transportation taxes prior to ticketing, which are subject to change without notice. Often discounted air tickets are nonrefundable, even in Business and First Class. TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION U.S. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond return travel date. Visas may be required for certain destinations, and are the responsibility of the passport holder. ATOC can assist you in obtaining a visa, when required, through a fee-based visa service. Non-U.S. passport holders need to contact their respective Embassy or Consulate for visa information. REVISIONS AND CHANGES Due to the expense incurred in making any changes to your travel arrangements, a fee of $30.00 per change is assessed, plus any fees charged by the suppliers and airlines for each modification made on deposited bookings. This includes passenger name spelling corrections which may be assessed an additional fee by the airlines. (Always provide your name as it appears in your passport). RATES AND FARES All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars and are accurate at the time of publication. They may, however experience changes from time to time due to fluctuations in foreign exchange markets, tariff changes, and other reasons beyond ATOC’s control. We reserve the right to modify and/or adjust invoices in the event of error. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations received 60 days or more prior to departure: $300.00 per person* 59 to 46 days prior to departure: 25% of total tour price* 45 to 31 days prior to departure: 50% of total tour price* Within 30 days of departure: 100% of total tour price* * Plus any charges assessed by suppliers, vendors, and airlines. Unused accommodations, missed meals, sightseeing, excursions, or other services are non-refundable. Other claims for refunds, adjustments, or cancellations must be received in writing, and will be calculated from the date of receipt at the ATOC offices in Encino. No claims will be considered after 30 days from the termination of the tour in question. INSURANCE Your travel experience is an investment and should be protected in the event of a sudden emergency, either before or during your trip. ATOC strongly recommends travel insurance for that reason. Please consult with your travel agent or ATOC Tours for details on plans and pricing. (Travelers declining insurance will be requested to sign a waiver). ACCOMMODATIONS Prices shown are per person based on double occupancy. Single occupancy is subject to availability, and is at additional cost. Accommodations are provided at listed hotels, although on occasion it may be necessary to use comparable alternate properties. It is standard policy that hotel rooms are available for check-in in the afternoon. TOUR DOCUMENTS Final documents are mailed 3 weeks prior to departure. Most airline tickets are issued electronically. Your tour documents will include itinerary, air confirmation, and other information pertinent to your destination. A handling fee of $50.00 will apply for early delivery document requests. AIRLINE BAGGAGE REGULATIONS Airline baggage regulations vary from airline to airline, from class of service, and from destination. Smaller aircraft in foreign countries may impose stricter allowance regulations. Please check directly with the airline you are flying with for up to date baggage rules. EXCLUSIONS Unless otherwise specified, air transportation, passport fees, visa fees, processing fees, medical certificate fees, inoculations, airport taxes, foreign country arrival/departure fees, items of personal nature (such as beverages, wines, spirits, liquors, meals not specified, gratuities, dry cleaning, laundry), excess baggage charges, travel insurance, airport transfers, airlines not connected with a specific tour, porterage, and anything else not specifically mentioned to be included as part of the tour price, including airline surcharges. DISCLOSURE NOTICE Your safety and comfort are of paramount concern to ATOC Tours. With that in mind, your participation in a tour may have certain inherent risks and dangers arising from the ever-changing global political climate that you must understand and be aware of. Exotic destinations in remote regions of the world may not have adequate means of evacuation or medical facilities, and travel on conveyances through undeveloped areas carries its own inherent chance. While we will make the best effort to ensure that ample measures are taken to avoid such circumstances, ATOC Tours cannot accept any liability for medical services nor accuracy of medical care rendered in such situations. Your participation in these tours is totally voluntary and with full knowledge that your involvement is at your own risk. Sensible behavior in particular regions coupled with warnings about travel after nightfall should be taken seriously. The U.S. Department of State regularly issues travel advisories. Refer to www.travel.state.gov for information. Further, ATOC Tours / TS Travel Ltd., is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient, or improperly issued passports, visas, or other legal documents. All coupons, exchange orders, receipts, contracts, and tickets issued by ATOC Tours / TS Travel Ltd., are issued subject to any and all tariffs and terms and conditions under which any services are provided by such hotels, airlines, surface transportation companies, waterborne vessels, or owners or contractors or by their person or persons in employ. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS ATOC Tours / TS Travel Ltd., reserves the right to cancel any itinerary completely or in part, make alterations to the itinerary including substituting hotels when necessary, or decline to accept any person as a tour participant should the person’s health, mental, or physical condition impede the operation of the tour, or impede the right of other participants to enjoy the same. Tour members are held responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake the tour. IT IS ESTABLISHED AND AGREED THAT THIS AGREEMENT IS ENTERED INTO IN THE CITY OF ENCINO, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND THAT IN THE EVENT ANY LEGAL OR EQUITABLE ACTION IS INITIATED CONCERNING THE INTERPRETATION, ENFORCEMENT, OR BREACH OF ANY TERM, OBLIGATION, OR DUTY AS CONTAINED OR RELATED IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS SET FORTH IN THIS BROCHURE AND WEBSITE, IT IS SPECIFICALLY AGREED THAT THE EXCLUSIVE VENUE OF SUCH ACTION SHALL BE SOLELY IN THE STATE, COUNTY, AND CITY OF ATOC TOURS / TS TRAVEL LTD.
