DAY 3: Arrive Mumbai (Bombay)

Arrive in Mumbai, India’s most bustling city. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The Ambassador
 
DAY 4: Mumbai City Tour
This morning is at leisure. In the afternoon your tour includes a visit the gateway of India, the Malabar Hills and Hanging Gardens, Prince of Wales Museum, Dhobi Ghat, Marine drive and Jain Temple.The Ambassador (B/D)

DAY 5: Mumbai / Udaipur
This morning cruise across the harbor to the Elephanta Caves. Later this afternoon you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Udaipur. On arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The Trident (B/D)

DAY 6: Udaipur
Today tour Udaipur, the “City of Lakes,” one of the most romantic and beautiful cities of India. Visit the City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari (Garden of Maids), and the folklore museum.  The rest of the day is at your leisure. The Trident (B/D)

DAY 7: Udaipur / Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur, gateway to the Thar Desert. The city is known for its striking fort, stately palaces and gracious buildings. Visit the Jaswant Thada and the imposing Meherangarh Fort, followed by a walking tour to see the old city of Jodhpur and its markets. Overnight in Jodhpur. Ajit Bhawan (B/D)

DAY 8: Jodhpur
Enjoy a full-day city tour of Jodhpur, including Mehrangarh Fort and the white marble cenotaph of Jaswant Thada. Ajit Bhawan (B/D)

DAY 9: Jodhpur / Jaipur
Today you will be transferred to the train station for your early morning train to Jaipur. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day city tour of Jaipur. Visit the Hawa Mahal “Palace of Winds,” and Jantar Mantar Observatory. This evening enjoy dinner in a Rajput Mansion. The Trident (B/D)

DAY 10: Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
This morning take an elephant ride or Jeep drive to the 16th century Amber Fort. Later drive to Agra, and en route visit the well-preserved Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel. Visit the Taj Mahal as the sun sets for a memorable experience. The Trident (B/D)

DAY 10: Agra / Delhi
In the early morning visit the famous Agra Fort, a walled palatial city. In the afternoon drive to Delhi and check into your hotel. The Crowne Plaza Hotel (B/D)

DAY 11: Delhi / USA
Your sightseeing today includes Old and New Delhi. Explore the Red Fort with its Pearl Mosque and exquisite audience halls, marble domes and slender minarets of the Jama Masjid, the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat, the Ashoka Pillar and the famous Chandani Chowk Bazaars (one of the shopping arcades of Mughal royalty). Drive along Rajpath to photograph Parliament House, the President’s Palace and India Gate, a memorial to India’s soldiers. Visit the colorful and famous Birla Mandir and the temple market. Your final stop is at Qutab Minar and the ruins of the Hindu temples destroyed during the Qutabshahi period. Enjoy an early dinner at a local restaurant and transfer to the airport for your flight home, full of wonderful memories of India. (B/D)
